Nicknamed “Big George,” George Foreman is a retired professional boxer with a 28-year long career. He earned widespread recognition after competing against Muhammed Ali in the 1974 Rumble in the Jungle. Now aged 71, Foreman is also an Olympic gold medalist, and he retired with a winning record of 76-5.
Foreman is a wealthy man boasting a $300 million fortune. However, it didn’t all come from his boxing career. The George Foreman Grill, which sold more than 100 million units worldwide, also played a major role in his riches. However, he sold its commercial rights for $138 million in 1999.
