Clive Myrie & Catherine Myrie | 30 Years
British journalist Clive Myrie has made his name as a newsreader for the BBC. He joined them as a radio presenter in 1987 and moved his way through the ranks, becoming a foreign correspondent in 1996. During this time, he held posts in Tokyo and Los Angeles.
It was between these career shifts, in 1992, that he met his wife, Catherine Myrie, crediting her with encouraging him to pursue his dreams. When they met, she worked in publishing but has since become an upholsterer and furniture restorer. In March 2022, Myrie left Ukraine after covering what transpired there due to the Russian invasion.
