While Mark Harmon was meant to be the lead character in “NCIS,” he was overshadowed by Pauley Perrette. She gained fame as the goth-meets-punk forensic scientist Abby Scuito and became quite the fan-favorite thanks to her enthusiastic character traits and dark looks.
The irony about this is that Perrette was actually just playing herself on the show. Despite this, she eventually left and went on to star in a sitcom called “Broke” in 2020. This was canceled after one season, and Perrette eventually retired. She can do that comfortably, though, with a $22 million net worth.
