CELEBS WHO HAVE LIVED AMAZING LIVES AND THEY AREN’T DONE LIVING YET
Ralph Carter – 60, $1 million
Ralph Carter is best remembered as Michael Evans from “Good Times,” as the youngest child of our favorite TV couple: Florida and James Evans, Sr. However, it was not his breakout role, which we owe to “Raisin.” For that role, he got the 1973 Drama Desk Award for the most promising performer, the Theatre World Award in 1974, and was nominated for a Tony.
As such, he is an icon for Black Theatre figures. He took a long hiatus after “Donny’s House” in 1987 and is now working on “Chaaw.” Other than that, in 2022, he has been seen in interviews commenting on the theatre scene post-pandemic.
