Sissy Spacek started out as a singer, but eventually switched to acting. She began working in films back in the early ’70s but rose to prominence after becoming the lead star of Carrie. Other notable films she was in were Crimes of the Heart, North Country, The Help, and most recently, The Old Man & the Gun.

These days, she’s still active in showbiz, even starring in the series Homecoming just last 2018. Sissy married Jack Fisk and gave birth to two daughters. Schuyler Fisk, her eldest one, has followed in her footsteps and joined the entertainment industry by acting and singing as well.
