American actress and director Sally Field started her career in comedies like The Flying Nun and The Girl with Something Extra. But in truth, she rose to fame after starring in the series Sybil, which earned her an Emmy Award. Regarding her career in film, she starred in movies like Moon Pilot, The End, Heroes, and Hooper. Although, it wasn’t until she starred in the drama Norma Rae that she bagged an Oscar, and her career skyrocketed even more.
