Mary Beth Peil was a famous opera singer from the 1970s who also managed to pursue an acting career. In her Broadway career, her most popular roles were in The King and I and Kiss Me, Kate. On the big screen, she is most known for her roles in Jersey Girl and The Odd Couple II. She also appeared in TV shows like Dawson’s Creek and Law & Order. She is already pushing 80 yet it doesn’t look like she has plans of entering retirement anytime soon.
