CELEBS WHO HAVE LIVED AMAZING LIVES AND THEY AREN’T DONE LIVING YET

Duncan Preston – 75, Undisclosed Net Worth

Duncan Preston is best known for appearances in TV shows penned by Victoria Wood, including features in Acorn Antiques and Dinnerladies. He embodied the role of Clifford again in the 2005 staging of Acorn Antiques: The Musical! Preston also featured in other TV shows like EastEnders and Surgical Spirit.

He has been involved in a relationship with Susan Penhaligon since 1997. The pair were married between 1986 and 1992, only to part ways and reconcile five years later. It doesn’t seem like they plan to walk down the aisle a second time, but they’re still going strong. Preston continues working at 75 and recently appeared in Emmerdale Farm episodes.

TRACY SHAW – 48, UNDISCLOSED

Most fans may recognize Tracy Shaw as hairdresser Maxine Peacock in the ITV soap opera “Coronation Street,” a role that she portrayed from 1995 to 2003. Unfortunately, serial killer Richard Hillman killed her character, much to the disappointment of her supporters.

Since her days with the long-running ITV show, Shaw appeared in the 2018 movie “Monster” but seemed to have vanished from the spotlight afterward. According to a 2020 Evoke article, the actress stepped back from the spotlight to focus on her family, pointing out that it became unbearable that her kids were also photographed during outings.

HELEN SHAPIRO – 75, UNDISCLOSED

Pop singer Helen Shapiro is best known for her chart-topping hits “Walkin’ Back to Happiness” and “You Don’t Know,” which were recorded when she was 14. By 1963, the singer found herself performing with The Beatles during tours. Later, it would seem that the English band had surpassed her popularity with their earlier hits like “Love Me Do” and “Please Please Me.”

Shapiro, meanwhile, turned to jazz and eventually gospel music. According to Elsewhere.com, she officially retired in 2002 and remained largely out of the spotlight. We don’t hear much about the singer these days, except that she is fully committed to her religion.

 David Attenborough – 95, $35 Million

David Attenborough is now in his 90s and is known for being a successful British broadcaster and a naturalist. He is a recognized personality from the natural history department of BBC. People love seeing him in the different documentaries he appears in that are all about Earth’s animals and plants.

Attenborough has also made some big bucks through his career as an author, and so far, he has released over twenty books already. For certain, his projects are always on point. He was awarded once again in 2019 when he received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Narrator.

Shirley Bassey – 84, $10million

Welsh singer Shirley Bassey may not have been a Bond girl but she is associated with famous film hero, James Bond. This is because she recorded 3 of hit theme songs of the film, and James Bond films are known to feature a relevant artist of the time, in their title songs. These three songs are GoldfingerDiamonds are Forever, and Moonraker.

Queen Elizabeth II awarded her Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (DBE) status in 1999, because of her services to entertainment, which is why the legendary singer, who still performs to this day, is now called Shirley Bassey.
