Cyndi Lauper & David Thornton | 30 Years

When Cyndi Lauper met Davit Thornton, it must have been love at first sight. They were brought together on set for the Off and Running movie and wound up walking down the aisle right around when the film was released. In 1997 they also had their first and only son, Dex Lauper.

Cyndi’s one of the most memorable singers of the ‘80s, having made songs like True Colors and Girls Just Want to Have Fun. David, on the other hand, is a renowned actor. They now share a $58-million net worth. Cyndi has announced her upcoming participation on The Goonies 2, as David’s working on Off by Heart.

Keith Richards & Patti Hansen | 38 Years

In the late ‘70s, Keith Richards was probably at the peak of his career with the Rolling Stones, whereas Patti Hansen had found a lot of success as a model. According to Harper’s Bazaar, they were set up to meet each other in Studio 54 in 1979.

They instantly clicked, and by 1983 in December, they had exchanged vows. They remain happily married to the day, with Keith being 74 years old and Patti, 64. They have also had two daughters and live together between their New York City apartment and their mansion in Weston, Connecticut.

Tim Mcgraw & Faith Hill | 24 Years

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are a prime example of how marrying your best friend adds longevity to your marriage. They met while on tour together in 1996 and hit it off. Hill was engaged to her producer at the time, but she broke it off and married later that year.

Together, they have done music collaborations, world tours, and share three daughters. They also own a private island with holiday home, and McGraw has a pilot’s license, making vacations easy to initiate. One of the keys to the longevity of their relationship is never being apart for more than three days straight.

Phil Collins & Orianne Cevey | 13 Years

There’s probably no other love story as complicated as the one that Phil Collins has with Orianne Cevey. They first met each other back in 1994. She was working as his translator during one of his tours. Five years later, they got married and started a family. By 2006, however, they had broken up.

That wasn’t the last time they heard of each other, though. As a matter of fact, they’re said to have gotten back together after 2016. They maintained their on-and-off relationship until 2020. They have since been legally fighting over the possession of their $40-million Miami mansion, which wound up being sold in 2021.

Sting & Trudie Styler | 24 Years

The year that Sing started his relationship with Trudie Styler, 1984, also marked the year that the Police band got dismembered, and Sting embarked on his equally successful solo career. He was previously married to Frances Tomelty, with whom he had two children. Meanwhile, he’s had four more with Trudy.

Sting’s most recently released album was called My Songs in 2019. Trudie, on the other hand, has never once stopped acting. She’s been in films like Zoolander 2, and series like Empire, and more recently, Pose. They reportedly share a fortune of around $400 million.

When you’ve been divorced twice, you may start developing a despondency towards marriage. Or, like Pawn Star Rick Harrison, you take lessons from it and try to make the third time a charm. That’s what he did when he met his third wife, Deanna Burditt.

The couple has been together since 2013, and according to them, compromising for each other is key to making marriage a success. It helps that Deanna has also been married twice before, so they’ve learned the same lessons. Pawn Stars recently finished its 17th season in June 2020. The show ran in a new, hour-long format; it’s unclear whether it will be renewed.
