Ursula von der Leyen – Heiko von de Leyen | 35 years
Ursula was born and raised in Brussels to German parents and is a German politician and physician who has been President of the European Commission since 1 December 2019. She served in the Cabinet of Germany for 14 years since 2005, holding successive positions in Angela Merkel’s cabinet, including most recently serving as Minister of Defence. Ursula is included in Time magazine’s 100 Most Influential People of 2020.
She’s married to Heiko von de Leyen since 1986, a professor of Medicine, is a physician and member of the German noble family von der Leyen. The couple has 7 kids.
