Couples You Wouldn’t Believe Are Still Together
Celebrity romance, it comes, and it goes, right? Not always, though. Some relationships blossom into beautiful marriages that stand the test of time. The bad thing about that is it’s surprising when you come across a long celebrity marriage, the good thing about it is that there’s hope for these relationships yet.
From Kurt Russel and Goldie Hawn to Danny De Vito and Rhea Perlman and even Prince Harry and Meghan Markle (Okay, they haven’t stood the test of time), we look at various longstanding relationships, the facts behind them and try to find the quirks that keep them going.
Salma Hayek & Francois Henri Pinault | 11 Years
As an A-list actress, Salma Hayek is seen as much for her fashion statement as she is for her performances in films. It must’ve been an easy answer when Henri Pinault, CEO of Fashion holding company Kerin, asked her to marry him.

Kerin is the holding company for brands like Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, and Alexander McQueen. The couple married on Valentine’s day 2009 in Paris, but it was so good that they decided to do it again in April that same year in Venice. Despite her husband’s billionaire status, Hayek is still a working woman and will star in the 2021 film called The Bodyguard’s Wife’s Bodyguard.
Catherine Bell & Brooke Daniels | 8 Years
Catherine Bell has had significant roles in several high profile series, including JAG, Army Wives, and The Good Witch. But it was on the set of Death Becomes Her, when she worked as a body double, that she met Adam Beason.

They were married for 17 years and had two children, but in 2010 sold their house, and by 2011 they were separated. Rumors circled that Bell Left Beason to be with photographer and party planner Brooke Daniels, who she started seeing in 2012. They currently live together in a 3,380-foot ranch house in Hidden Hills, Los Angeles.
Loni Anderson & Bob Flick | 12 Years
For Actress Loni Anderson, Fourth Time was most definitely the charm when she married Musician and member of ’60s folk band The Brother Four, Bob Flick, in 2008. What’s most ironic about their story is that they met way back in 1963, before Anderson married her first husband.

The multiple Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actress was walked down the aisle by Quinton Reynolds, the son she adopted with 3rd husband, Burt Reynolds. Anderson also has a daughter named Dierdre Hoffman from her first marriage to Bruce Hasselberg. She and Flick have been together for 12 years.
Kristy McNichol & Martie Allen | 28 Years
Kristy McNichol came out as gay in 2012, also revealing that she and now wife Martie Allen had been together for 20 years. McNichol’s sexuality had been up for questions since her days as a child star, and she revealed in the hope that it would help youths who may be fearful about coming out themselves.

She made a name for herself in the ’80s in movies like Little Darlings and the Sitcom Empty Nest. McNichol also won an Emmy award for her role as Letitia Lawrence in the show, Family. She abruptly retired from acting in 1998 and true to her word hasn’t touched another acting job again.
