If the lovely Ilhan Omar looks different from most American politicians, that’s because she is. She’s the first naturalized citizen of African birth to make it to the Congress, and she’s been fighting to make a difference as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Minnesota.
Omar was married and divorced twice before meeting the political consultant Tim Mynett. Together since 2020, Omar and Mynett have already been at the center of a major controversy, when it was made public that Mynett’s firm had received $2.78 million in contracts from Omar’s 2020 campaign.
