Elton John – 250K Pairs Of Sunglasses
Elton John is known for his eccentric collection of sunglasses. John explained that expensive electronics never fascinated him and that he’s more interested in sunglasses. He revealed that he owns more than 250K pairs, with some going back as far as the ’70s.
John denied that his diva tendencies extend to his sunglasses, responding to the 2013 rumors that he supposedly demanded to have an extra hotel room specifically for them. The Rocket Man musician had been touring Brazil at the time and was staying at a 5-star establishment. Claims further said that he requested the temperature in the room to stay at 16 degrees Celsius to preserve his eyewear.
