Neil Kinnock – 80
Neil Kinnock is a former politician who served as an MP from 1970 to 1995. From 1983 to 1992, he was the Leader of the Opposition and the Labor Party. Until the summer of 2009, he was the president of Cardiff University and Chairman of the British Council.
Kinnock was born in March 1942 during the Silent Generation. He married Gladys in 1967, and the couple had two kids. After resigning from politics, he did not give up his seat on the Advisory Council of the Institute for Public Research. He was portrayed by both Steve Coogan and Chris Barrie in “Spitting Image,” a satirical television program.
