Susan Tully will forever be remembered as the original actress who played the iconic role of Michelle Fowler in “EastEnders.” She developed a passion for acting during high school and later joined the Anna Scher children’s theatre to hone her acting skills.

Tully broke quite a few hearts in 1995 when she left the Square, and although her character Michelle Fowler did make a comeback in 2017, it was with another actress reprising the role. Now, Tully has taken a step back from acting and is active behind the lens as a director. In 2021, she directed three episodes of her ITV psychological thriller “Too Close.”
