Unfortunately, the results of their search only served to confirm their initial fears. They learned that Storie could be having an overdue pregnancy. And once a pitbull is pregnant for longer than 65 days, it’s a likely possibility. Also, while many dogs usually have uncomplicated pregnancies, an emergency c-section was sometimes the best recourse. Chris and his wife didn’t want to consider that likelihood.
