Even if nothing else was clear, the situation’s urgency was apparent. Mariesa and Chris had adopted a pregnant pitbull without much regard for what could happen in the future. So not only did they have to face certain levels of discrimination and distrust regarding the breed of their dog, but they also faced other challenges.
