A Dog, a Vet, and an Ultrasound: How 12 Pups Helped Foster an Online Community of Animal Lovers

The Ultrasound That Changed Everything

Once Mariesa and Chris arrived at the clinic, they wasted no time beginning the physical examination. The doctor was very mindful of Storie’s condition. So they made sure the dog was very comfortable before starting the tests. After observing and inspecting the dog, it was time to have an ultrasound.

The good thing about ultrasounds is that, unlike other imaging tools, they enable vets to see inside an animal’s body without any risks. With the noninvasive nature of the sonogram, the couple was not scared Storie would become agitated. Instead, they were more afraid of what the results would reveal.
