Saying Goodbye
Sadly, Storie couldn’t remain with the Hughes. Once she recovered from birth, she was adopted by a gentleman determined to provide her with a loving home. So with heavy hearts and hope for the future, Storie said goodbye to the loving couple who gave her a new lease on life.
Still, adopting Storie had sown a seed in the minds of Mariesa and Chris. They established the MrMo Project, a non-profit organization focused on caring for sick and elderly dogs. They also accepted requests from dog lovers from all over who were willing to foster or adopt those dogs and provide them with the care they needed.
