Pitbulls are usually seen in such a negative light because of their appearance. As Mariesa and Chris brought Storie home, they had to face the questions of concerned neighbors who were worried about the dangers posed by her presence. The fact that she was pregnant also increased their alarm.
What if Storie registered them as a threat to her and her unborn pups? The Hughes had so many questions thrown at them. Yet they responded to each inquiry by insisting that Storie wasn’t violent. Though she may appear that way, she was the sweetest dog. They also wished more people would recognize Storie for the gem she truly was.
