Dominic Raab – Northern Kent, Undisclosed
Dominic Raab, the former Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, agreed to share the 115-room Northern Kent mansion with Liz Truss. He had been involved in a brawl with the former Foreign Secretary, Truss, over the occupancy of the Grade I-listed building.
Famously dubbed the Chevening House, it dates to the ‘50s and has since housed several politicians. Often, the Prime Minister decides who gets to occupy the residence, and usually, it goes to the office of the Foreign Secretary. In the 2021 cabinet reshuffle, Raab took up the office of Deputy Prime Minister while Truss succeeded him as the Foreign Secretary.
