Klay Thompson was born in Los Angeles to a couple who were keen on sports. His mother was a college volleyball player, whereas his father, Mychal Thompson, was an NBA player. Klay chose the latter as a career path, and he certainly didn’t disappoint his father.
After being drafted by the Golden State Warriors in 2011, Klay contributed to the team’s win of three NBA championships. He also represented America and won gold medals at the 2016 Olympic Games and 2014 World Cup. With all of this, Klay made a $50 million fortune, further adding $32 million in salaries and $5 to $10 million in endorsements each year.
