Theater and film stars Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard have been married for 12 years, but they have been together for far longer. The couple, who has two kids Gloria and Ramona, have been each other’s biggest allies in the business. In fact, when the Secretary star made a film for Netflix titled Penelope, he asked his husband to play the lead role of a farmer.
In an October 2020 interview with The Guardian, Sarsgaard revealed that they moved to Greece, the set of Gyllenhaal’s directorial debut, which is the adaptation of The Lost Daughter. They have also starred in the feature In God’s Hands.
