In the classic thriller I Know What You Did Last Summer, Sarah Michelle Gellar played Helen Shivers while Freddie Prinze Jr. portrayed Ray Bronson. It was the first time the two met, but it wasn’t until 2000 when they started dating. By 2002, the actors had exchanged vows in Mexico and have since welcomed two children.
Fans may also recognize the couple in Scooby-Doo as Fred and Daphne. Nearly two decades after they tied the knot, Gellar and Prinze remain in love, as evidenced by the Buffy and the Vampire Slayer star’s 2020 post commemorating their first date.
