It’s hard to imagine Snoop Dogg being sweet and mushy because of his public image, but he tends to melt when talking about his wife of over two decades, Shante Taylor. The rapper wouldn’t be the man he is today if it weren’t for her, whom he met in high school in the late ’80s.
They got married in 1997, but he filed for divorce in 2004 before realizing how much his sweetheart truly meant to him. Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., admitted that fame got into his head. Their daughter’s lupus diagnosis also brought the family back again.
