Welsh journalist Huw Edwards hosts the BBC News at Ten and covers state events for the broadcaster. He took the lead in presenting the 2009 UK general election coverage and succeeded David Dimbleby in hosting the election night coverage. Edwards also covered Prince Philip’s funeral in April 2021.
He is married to Vicky Flind, and they are blessed with five children. Flind formerly worked as an editor for the BBC political show The Week up until 2016. She currently works for ITV as the series editor for their political magazine show Preston.
