We doubt that when Jerry Springer was in his 20s, he even considered what kind of a future he would end up having, but then again who does at that age? After all, he was just finishing his bachelor’s degree in political science. After many years, he established a career in television and got married to Nicki Velton in 1973. They only had one child together, Katie. Even though she was born completely blind and deaf from one ear, as a family they overcame these difficulties and Kati ended up graduating, getting married and making Jerry a proud grandfather.
