Jussie Smollet might be well-known from the series Empire as Jamal Lyon, but he started acting at a young age. He appeared in movies like North and The Mighty Ducks. Some of his other credits include marshall and Alien: Covenant. Smollett’s career is on the rocks after he was involved in a fake hate crime scandal early in 2019. He got out of the class 4 felony charges with a plea deal that involved forfeiting his bail and performing community service. Fox terminated him from Empire following the outrage the incident sparked. He’s kept a low profile since then, but hopefully, he can bounce back before he runs through his $1.5 million fortune.
