Perhaps actor Gary Clarke may have appeared in a number of films and television shows, but his most known appearance was in the long-running Western themed TV series, The Virginian. After his last appearance as a regular cast of television series, Clarke went on to write screenplays, including some episodes of the 1960’s TV sitcom, Get Smart. Aside from The Virginian, some of his most notable roles were in Michael Shayne, Hondo, Dynasty, and Laramie.
