Bill Russell – 87, $10 Million

Bill Rusell will always be remembered by NBA fans because he was able to bag the Most Valuable Player Award in the NBA for numerous times. Rusell was a member of the Boston Celtics for about thirteen years. He is also remembered for being the U.S. national basketball team’s captain when they won in the Summer Olympics back in 1956. He is already 84 years old and has around $10 million in his bank account.

Maury Povich – 83, $80 Million

The TV star Maury Povich may be best remembered for hosting his show “The Maury Povich Show” since the early ’90s, which was later rebranded as just “Maury.” That long-running famous TV show is airing its final season in 2022, marking the end of an era.

It’s incredible how Povich has remained active in the industry for about six decades since his career as a radio reporter began in WWDC. He has experienced so much—good and bad—in his public and personal life, but in all, his is a success story worth telling.

David McCallum – 88, $15 Million

David Mccallum (born September 19, 1933) is a British actor and musician. He gained recognition in the ’60s in the TV series “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.” His depiction of NCIS medical examiner Dr. Donald “Ducky” Mallard in the TV series “NCIS” has brought him considerable international fame and recognition.

Along with John Leyton and William Russell, he is among the few surviving actors from the 1963 classic “The Great Escape.” He generally works as a voice actor, and he voiced the documentary “D-Day at Pointe-du-Hoc” in 2019.

Twiggy – 72, $50 Million

Dame Lesley Lawson was not just an icon in the swinging ’60s without good reason. Though she started in the world of modeling, she was also a talented person in other ways. She proved it by winning two Golden Globes for her role in “The Boy Friend,” where she portrayed the lead character in the musical comedy.

Richard Chamberlain – 87, $20 Million

Actor Richard Chamberlain was born in California and pursued an acting career after graduating from Pomona College. He eventually became a teen idol after starring in the series Dr. Kildare in the ’60s. Richard also worked in popular television shows such as Shōgun, and The Thorn Birds.

As for his film career, he played the lead role in the first Bourne movie titled The Bourne Identity. Most recently, Chamberlain has guest-starred on shows like Will and Grace, Nip/Tuck, Desperate Housewives, Chuck, and Brothers&Sisters. In 2017, he appeared in a third-season episode of Twin Peaks.

Elisabeth Shue – 58, $20 Million

Elisabeth Shue spent the ’80s playing the quintessential girlfriend, first in “Back To The Future II and III” and then in “The Karate Kid.” She continued to land wholesome girl next door roles, but in the ’90s, she decided that she wanted a change. This was when she decided to take more serious roles.

This came in the form of an escort in the film “Leaving Las Vegas.” The role earned her nominations for an Oscar, Screen Actors Guild, and a Golden Globe Award. It also made Hollywood see her as a mature actress, although she still returned to play her “Karate Kid” role in the spinoff series “Cobra Kai” in 2021.

Connie Stevens – 83, $50 Million

Connie Stevens has $50 million to her name today, and her acting career that dates back to the late ’50s is a significant contributor to her riches. It was in 1957 when she made her feature film debut in Young and Dangerous. She then came out with her debut album titled Concetta a year after.

After Jerry Lewis cast her in the musical comedy Rock-A-Bye Baby, it didn’t take long for Warner Brothers to sign her. She’s also become notable for playing Cricket Blake on Hawaiian Eye between 1959 and 1963. The last time saw the 83-year-old star on screen was in the 2019 film By the Rivers of Babylon.

Lorenzo Lamas – 64 , $4 Million

Lorenzo Lamas as Lance Cumson, the wild grandson of Jane Wyman’s Angela Channing in the series Falcon Crest is just perfection! He even got a Golden Globe nod for his superb performance. He also gave life to Reno Raines on Renegade and Hector Ramirez on The Bold and The Beautiful.

Lamas has been acting since his teenage years, but he bagged his break with a supporting role in the movie version of Grease. The 64-year-old star is the child of Argentine-born actor/director Fernando Lamas, who made his American debut in the ’50s hit flick The Avengers.

Victoria Principal – 71, $350million

If you have watched the soap opera Dallas, then you probably remember Victoria Principal as Pamela Barnes Ewing. The show aired from 1978 until 1991, although Victoria left the show in 1987. After that, she started her own production company called Victoria Principal Productions and created a line of skincare products. The 70-year-old is also an author who wrote three books on beauty, health, fitness, skincare, and well-being. She is also a philanthropist.

Ralph Carter – 60, $1 million

Ralph Carter is best remembered as Michael Evans from “Good Times,” as the youngest child of our favorite TV couple: Florida and James Evans, Sr. However, it was not his breakout role, which we owe to “Raisin.” For that role, he got the 1973 Drama Desk Award for the most promising performer, the Theatre World Award in 1974, and was nominated for a Tony.

As such, he is an icon for Black Theatre figures. He took a long hiatus after “Donny’s House” in 1987 and is now working on “Chaaw.” Other than that, in 2022, he has been seen in interviews commenting on the theatre scene post-pandemic.

Raquel Welch – 81, $30 Million

Actress Raquel Welch rose to fame in the mid-1960s when she appeared in the movie Fantastic Voyage, then she later gained even more fame through her roles in films like BedazzledThe Three Musketeers, and Right To Die. She did not limit herself to just acting though, for she also was also into financing a business at some point through her own line of skin-care products, wigs, jewelry, wigs, and even fitness videos.

Linda Gray – 81, $12 Million

Linda Gray had the sympathy of many a woman during her ’80s pomp. She famously played Sue Ellen Ewing in the iconic series “Dallas,” a character who was the long-suffering wife of the main antagonist and the man everyone loved to hate, J.R. Ewing.

For all of her on-screen suffering, at least she earned a Golden Globe and Emmy nomination. She reprised the role in the 1996 films “Dallas: J.R. Returns” and “Dallas: War of the Ewings” and again in the refurbished show “Dallas” from 2012 to 2014. She remained active and, in 2019, starred in a film called “Intuitions” and also appeared in a TV special called “Stars in the House.”

Johnny Mathis – 86, $400 Million

John Royce Mathis is an American singer-songwriter who’s achieved great success in the music industry. Several dozens of his albums were in fact, certified gold or platinum. John has sold over 360 million records worldwide, becoming one of the best-selling artists in the world. He also received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award and was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.

Moreover, his music has been used in many TV shows like the X-files and Mad Men. Mathis also appeared in the finale of season 14 of the television show Criminal Minds.

Tim Curry – 76, $14 Million

Tim Curry is a renowned actor and singer who gained widespread recognition for portraying Dr. Frank-N-Furter in the cult classic “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.” As iconic on-screen appearances go, he also starred in other hit film and television roles, including in “Annie,” “The Three Musketeers,” and “Peter Pan & the Pirates.” Curry found equal success in theater and garnered two Laurence Olivier Award nominations.

As for his singing career, Curry thrived there too and released three studio albums, “Ready My Lips,” “Fearless,” and “Simplicity.” Maintaining a stellar run in the industry, he has become worth $14 million and lent his voice-over talents to the 2022 horror film “Fork.”

Muse Watson – 73, $2 Million

Muse Watson is a seasoned stage and screen actor who has played a wide range of characters, from the hook-wielding Ben Willis in “I Know What You Did Last Summer” to the mild Charles Westmoreland in Fox’s suspense drama “Prison Break.” He played Mike Franks in the TV series “NCIS” from 2006 to 2013.

“Assassins,” “Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me,” “Lolita,” “A Day Without a Mexican,” and “Suburban Gothic” are among his notable appearances. Watson is still very much alive, even though he hasn’t been seen much on TV since he departed from “NCIS” in 2017.

Alan Dale was interested in both acting and rugby as a child. After retiring from sports, he decided to pursue a career as an actor and relocated to Australia, where he portrayed Dr. John Forrest in “The Young Doctors” from 1979 to 1982.

After returning to the United States a few years later, his career was resurrected with appearances in popular shows such as “Ugly Betty,” “The O.C.,” “Once Upon a Time,” “Lost,” and “The X-Files,” and others. Before turning to acting, Matt Craven worked in a variety of vocations. In western Canada, he worked as an electrician and a lineman. When he was about 20 years, he discovered his passion for acting and auditioned for a local production of Dracula, portraying Jonathan Harker.

Michael Nouri worked in the insurance industry before making his acting debut in 1969 with an uncredited appearance in “Goodbye, Columbus.” In films like “Lovely & Amazing,” He rose to prominence in films such as “Lovely & Amazing,” “Flashdance,” and “Last Holiday.” He’s also been in “Damages,” “Love & War,” “NCIS,” “The O.C.,” and “Brothers & Sisters,” among other shows.

Aside from TV and film performances, Michael created a name for himself on Broadway, starring alongside Julie Andrews in “Victor/Victoria” from 1995 to 1997. He most recently had a three-season recurring role in the Yellowstone show, which ended in 2020.

Armand Assante – 72, $10 Million

Assante, a four-time Golden Globe nominee and Emmy Award winner, has been hailed as an “Actor’s Actor” for nearly 50 years. He has received 12 Lifetime Achievement Awards worldwide in the last ten years. He is most remembered for his portrayals as gangster John Gotti in the 1996 HBO television drama “Gotti,” Nietzsche in “When Nietzsche Wept,” and Mike Hammer in 1982’s “I, the Jury” with Mickey Spillane.

He’s appeared in films including “Darc,” “Lazar,” “Con man,” “General,” and “The Match” in the last few years. He’s a constant presence in the crime family drama “The Family Business,” which was extended for a fourth season in January 2022.

Scott Bakula – 67, $16 Million

Scott Bakula is famously known for his role in the highly acclaimed drama “Quantum Leap.” He won a Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Drama Series and was nominated for four Emmy Awards. For his role in the television movie “Behind the Candelabra,” he received an Emmy nomination in 2013.

“Men of a Certain Age” and “Star Trek: Enterprise” are his other television credits. On “Law & Order,” “Desperate Housewives,” and “Chuck,” he has made recurring guest appearances. He was the primary actor and producer of “NCIS: New Orleans,” a popular police procedural series from 2014 to 2021.

Penny Smith – 63, unconfirmed

Penny Smith is a respected British journalist newsreader who has been around the British media spectrum, having worked for nearly every network in the country. She has worked in radio, TV, and even some print and his note for her longs tints at Sky News and BBC Radio London.

She has also worked for Classic FM, talkRADIO, and GMTV. Before then, she worked in Asia, presenting a current affairs show on “Radio Television Hong Kong.” This was while she was backpacking through South America and Asia. In 2020 she appeared in a Documentary called “When Classic TV Goes Horribly Wrong” and in 2022 hosts a show on Scala Radio.

Tom Jones – 81, $250 million

Tom Jones is a Welsh singer who was also part of the swinging ’60s generation. He began by stringing together top-ten hits and toured regularly. He made many appearances in Las Vegas, being particularly susceptible to his robust baritone tunes. He can also act, having been nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Actor in “This is Tom Jones.”

Through music, he gave the greatest gift to the world and was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire for services to music in 2005. He is still going and released a new single, a rendition of “Talking Reality Television Blues” in 2021.

Nonetheless, he never reached a point of bankruptcy and his fortune is estimated to be at $15 million as of today.

Jim Brown – 85, $50 Million

Jim Brown was a popular name in the NFL from the 1950s through 1960s. He was a member of the Cleveland Browns and was playing as a running back. A lot of people refer to him as the greatest NFL player in history. But his career as an athlete isn’t the only thing that brought him a lot of earnings for he also became a successful actor. Some of his most known roles were in movies like The Split, Riot, and 100 Riffles.

Fran Tarkenton – 81, $60 Million

Fran Tarkenton is most remembered for his time playing for the Minnesota Vikings as their quarterback. He truly had a fruitful NFL career but he also pursued other ventures like appearing in shows like Monday Night Football and That’s Incredible. He also fattened up his checking account after he put up his own computer software company called Tarkenton Software.  At 78 years old, he is reported to be worth $60 million.

Nehemiah Persoff – 102, $4million

Nehemiah Persoff is an actor who resumed his acting profession in 1947 and he is reported to have taken on more than 200 roles throughout the entire course of his career. Before making it as an actor, he got by through working as an electrician.

Some of his most popular roles were The Greatest Story Ever Told, Some Like It Hot, and Mission: Impossible. He had to slow down during the mid-1980s because of issues he had with his health. He officially retired in 1999 and has stayed in California for many years, alongside his wife Thia, whom he married in 1951.

Bern Nadette Stanis – 67, $6million

During the popularity of the TV character of actress Bern Nadette Stanis, Thelma from the famous TV show, Good Times, many girls of  African-American descent wanted to be like her.  This is why the actress, although already retired, is still remembered as the said beloved character.

Stanis chose to spend more time with her family than pursuing her acting career, she also writes during her spare time, and released a book in 2006 entitled Bern Nadette Stanis Situations 101.
