In September 2021, Cassandra Peterson, known for playing the titular character in “Elvira: Mistress of the Dark,” made headlines due to her secret relationship with Teresa Wierson, a trainer she met at a gym in the ’00s. The actress revealed they’d been together for 19 years, only divulging things recently out of fear that her fans wouldn’t love her anymore.
Although Peterson is recognized as Elvira, she has a long list of acting and voice-acting credits. She voiced several characters in the show “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” and “Dota: Dragon’s Blood.”
