Robert Clary rose to fame in the 1960s when he was cast as Corporal Louis LeBeau. in the show, Hogan’s Heroes. Clary was actually able to make it alive out of the Nazi concentration camps back in WWII. He eventually pursued a career on Broadway after claiming freedom and later, an acting career. He also made some earnings through releasing his own memoir entitled From the Holocaust to Hogan’s Heroes: The Autobiography of Robert Clary.
