Off the screen, she captured Keith Hanson’s heart and is undoubtedly his favorite woman. They fell for each other in 2015, and she told People magazine that he’s the perfect partner for her.
While Vangsness hinted that they were gearing up to walk down the aisle, there was no confirmation whether they took the plunge. Asked by Smashing Interviews Magazine about their impending nuptials, she said that love is messy and she’s not a great planner. Since Criminal Minds wrapped up in 2020, she wrote, directed, and narrated the animated film Curtains.
