Couples You Wouldn’t Believe Are Still Together
Nancy Pelosi & Paul Pelosi | 58 Years
Nancy and Paul Pelosi have been together for a lifetime. They met in college and married in 1963. Since then, they have managed to take care of five children and become one of America’s most powerful couples. We don’t know how they find the time, but they always seem to do: Nancy is the U.S. House of Representatives speaker, while Paul is an accomplished businessman.
Remarkably, these two are still going at it at the respectable ages of 81 and 80. Nancy has been an active public servant since 1981, while Paul continues to be busy managing his successful real estate/venture capitalism firm.
Sarah Palin & Todd Palin | 32 Years
We all thought it was forever, but it was not… The former Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin, and her husband of 32 years, oil field production operator Todd Palin, announced their divorce in 2019. The separation was finalized in 2020, with Palin citing “incompatibility of temperament” as the reason for the break-up.

Sarah and Todd Palin have five children together, including Trig, who was born with Down syndrome. At the age of 57, the now-single Palin has been away from public office since she resigned from her role as Governor in 2009. She has since appeared on season 3 of The Masked Singer, performing as Bear.
Joe Biden & Jill Biden | 44 Years
The U.S. President Joe Biden was having a rough time before meeting his wife of 44 years, the teacher Jill Jacobs. He was a widower since 1972, the year that marked the tragic deaths of his first wife Neilia and one-year daughter Naomi, both deceased in a car accident. According to Biden, Jill was responsible for renewing his interest “in politics and life.”

Biden overcame tragedy in a big way by becoming one of America’s most distinguished political players. He was chosen to be Barack Obama’s Vice President in 2009 and made it all the way to the top seat at the White House in 2021.
Kamala Harris & Doug Emhoff | 7 Years
Now, this is a power couple: the first female, African American, and Asian American Vice President in U.S. history is married to Doug Emhoff, a lawyer who’s recently become the first Second Gentleman ever. While less confident men would loathe the job title, Emhoff has excelled at it: he’s a role model when it comes to being a loving and supporting husband.

Harris and Emhoff met on a 2013 blind date and tied the knot roughly one year after. They have been together for 7 years, and we expect their love story to grow even stronger in the future.
Tulsi Gabbard & Abraham Williams | 6 Years
Abraham Williams is a cinematographer who has filmed several shorts for politicians and a lot for his wife, Tulsi Gabbard’s political ads. Williams was a volunteer on Gabbard’s 2012 political campaign for a seat in the House of Representatives, which brought the two together.

The lovers were united by their shared passion for hiking and surfing, to the point where Williams proposed to Gabbard when the two were out to catch some waves. The pair married in Kahaluu in a stunning ceremony in 2015. Gabbard served in the United States House of Representatives from Hawaii’s 2nd district until 2021.
