Jackie Chan – Teacups
Jackie Chan is a respected comedy-action movie star and martial artist. You would think that if he collected anything it would be related to his field, but Chan is a teacup collector. Back in 2011, he gave Talk Asia a glimpse into his hidden den in Hong Kong.
Chan has an affinity for teacups with gilt and floral designs reminiscent of what you would see at an English tea party. His collection, at some point, grew to a thousand teacup sets, but he advised other collectors against allowing a collection to grow to such numbers.
