Dirk Nowitzki was born and raised in Germany but made his way to the US, where he played in the NBA for more than two decades. Pretty much everyone in his family was excelling in sports like basketball and handball. Since Nowitzki had the advantage of height (7 feet tall), he mastered his basketball skills.
Nowitzki’s hard work certainly paid off as he made a massive $140 million fortune, playing for the Dallas Mavericks his entire career. Since he is still a fresh retiree, we’ll have to wait to find out his future plans.
