Zaya Wade – Dwyane Wade
Zaya Wade was born Zion Malachi Airamis Wade, the eldest of retired NBA player Dwyane Wade, and Siohvaughn Funches. Her parents broke up in 2007, and her father married actress Gabrielle Union in 2014. At a young age, Zaya knew she felt different and had the strength to come out as gay in 2015.
As she grew older, she realized she identified as a woman and her dad and stepmother were very supportive. The young star interviewed former First Lady Michelle Obama in March 2021, ahead of Obama’s memoir release.
