Christain Gudegast may have chosen his father’s birth name because the acting name, Eric Braeden, is synonymous with one of the most hated antagonists in American soap operas, Victor Newman of The Young And The Restless. He still went into the film industry and, as a screenwriter, has some high-profile scripts to his name.
Gudegast graduated top of his class at UCLA Film School, also scoring the Student Film Of The Year award in 1992. He made some rap videos shortly after graduating, But he soon found his groove in screenwriting, contributing to major Hollywood screenplays such as London Has Fallen, A Man Apart, and Den Of Thieves.
