Everyone knew Johnny Depp would eventually become a huge star ever since they saw him perform in his acting debut in the ’80s TV series, 21 Jump Street. However, his big break on the silver screen came in 1990, when he starred in Edward Scissorhands, and some years later in Ed Wood. The rest is acting history.
Depp is now one of the best character actors ever, having played in legendary films like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and the Pirates of the Caribbean film series. Until now, Depp commands some pretty fat paychecks, while he’s been playing in a band called Hollywood Vampires since 2015. Their frontman is Alice Cooper.
