As the son of actress Pauline Quirke and producer Steve Sheen, Charlie Quirke was expected to follow in his parents’ footsteps. However, that wasn’t completely the case for the kid, who was more interested in playing football than portraying roles.
When the “Broadchurch” star enrolled her then 10-year-old in an acting camp, he seemed to have found the profession interesting. His first TV appearance was for an uncredited role in “The Thieving Headmistress,” which starred his mom in 2006. Charlie also played Travis Stubbs in “Birds of a Feather,” which was canceled in 2021 due to Pauline’s refusal to join the reboot.
