Live TV Fails so Awkward; You’ll Feel Secondhand Embarrassment for These Reporters
Snowplow Surprise

Viewers couldn’t help but gasp when Steve Keeley, a reporter for FOX 29 in Philadelphia, was hit by snow from a snowplow while covering a snowstorm in Woodstown, New Jersey, on March 3, 2014. Despite standing about 20 feet from the road, the plow’s high speed sent a wave of snow crashing into him during a live broadcast.
Despite his colleague Sue Serio screaming, Steve remained calm and continued his report without missing a beat. The incident quickly went viral, with viewers praising his composure and humor. Later, Steve joked about his newfound YouTube fame, saying the mass of snow that hit him in the clip didn’t hurt him.
