Live TV Fails so Awkward; You’ll Feel Secondhand Embarrassment for These Reporters

50% Off

There’s no better proof that work-from-home life has some perks than when Jordanian political analyst Majid Asfour went live on Al Jazeera. Although he appeared fully dressed, wearing a crisp suit jacket and tie, he wore no pants. His son discreetly panned the camera to reveal Majid perched on the sofa in shorts, laptop balanced on pillows.

Once the picture went viral, Majid acknowledged that the attention superseded everything he’d done in the media. He later explained that Amman was sweltering above 30°C, so he’d skipped trousers to stay cool. Now, everyone has to wonder if the reporters they see on TV are fully dressed.
