Her court cases with her mother, coupled with her controversial habits, led Chapin to bankruptcy. To make ends meet, she was forced to become a female escort and was subsequently jailed. Today, Chapin has a $6-million fortune, made a full recovery, and has found solace in faith and religion.

One of the most acclaimed directors of our generation, Ron Howard, comes from a family with a rich acting heritage. Not only did his parents themselves enjoy the Hollywood spotlight, his two daughters, Paige and Bryce, are also successful showbiz actors.

Having caught the acting bug from watching movies, she worked with major film studios like 20th Century Fox and Universal Studios during her illustrious career.

After making her acting debut in 1948, Hughes gave memorable performances in movies like Revenge, For Men Only, and Telephone time. Although she has not worked in Hollywood for over two decades, her 2018 short movie Swamp Women Kissing Booth gives us hope of a Kathleen Hughes comeback.

Donna Martell, Age 93 – Grace Kelly

Born in Los Angeles, California, Donna Martell was recommended to a talent agency by a fellow student while studying at Los Angeles City College. She made her acting debut in 1947 in the western-themed movie Apache Rose, which earned her a contract with Universal-International.

During the ‘50, Martell pivoted to become a freelance actor and shifted her focus on television shows, appearing in popular productions like Cavalcade of America and Cheyenne. Apart from her return in the 1983 television film Grace Kelly, Martell retired from acting in the early ‘60s for unspecified reasons and has stayed away from the spotlight ever since.

Maureen McCormick, Age 64 – The Brady Bunch

An acclaimed American actress, author, and musician, Maureen McCormick rose to fame following her role as Marcia Brady on ABC’s popular ‘70s TV series The Brady Bunch. Taiwanese actor Collin Chou was born in Kaohsiung City, located by the southern bay of Taiwan. His parents named him Hsiao-Lung Chou, but he later changed it to Sing Ngai when making his acting debut as Chopin in the 1987 film Promising Young Boy.

In the early ‘00s, he changed his name again to Collin Chou before appearing in his breakout role as Seraph in the 2003 action flick The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions. In 2008, he gave one of his most memorable performances to date as Jade Warlord in The Forbidden Kingdom. Chou’s upcoming movies include the martial arts action movie Crazy Fist and Nezha (Life as Lotus).

Judd Hirsch, Age 86 – Taxi

During his 50 years in showbiz, Judd Seymore Hirsch has proved his mettle as a film, television, and stage actor. After studying acting at HB Studio in New York City, he made his film debut in 1971 as an extra in Jump.

Hirsch found his footing in Hollywood after a masterful performance as Alex Reiger during his six-season-tenure starring in the television series Taxi. He has also appeared in blockbusters like Independence Day, A Beautiful Mind, and Ordinary People. In 2021, Hirsch is starring as the lead in the Marvin Samel-directed family film iMordecai.

Liza Minelli, Age 75 – Cabaret

Renowned for her role as Sally Bowles in the 1972 classic Cabaret, Liza May Minelli was born to famous parents who were in the showbiz industry themselves. Although she was interested in ice skating as a youngster, her appearance in a 1963 musical Best Foot Forward allowed Minelli to appear on talk shows and kick-started her acting and musical career.

Minelli is one of the select few performers with an EGOT. After her Academy Award-winning performance in Cabaret, she went on to win an Emmy for Liza with a Z. Minelli is currently busy filming her upcoming documentaries Broadway: The Next Generation and Song of the Century.

Al Roker, Age 66 – The Today Show

Legendary weather forecaster and anchor Al Roker might describe himself as ‘nothing special’ and ‘goofy-looking,’ but his impressive resume paints an entirely different picture altogether. Renowned for his skills as the weathercaster on NBC’s Today Show, Roker battled obesity during his early career, which also had an adverse impact on his married life.

Along with the Al Roker Show, he is also credited with notable on-screen appearances in films like Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Robots, and The Big Year. After producing four movies and documentaries in 2020, Roker is busy as a weatherman on NBC’s Today show, while also corresponding on NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt.

JOHN DALY, AGE 55 – PGA TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP

Professional golfer John Daly is still at it at 55, continuously making a statement on the course. In May 2021, he made the headlines again after being spotted with a cigarette in his mouth while hitting a ball at the PGA Championship. He was also seen with a cup of Diet Coke at seven in the morning during the competition. In September 2020, Daly revealed that he was diagnosed with bladder cancer and had since undergone a procedure. This health problem, which he thought was only kidney stones, caused the legendary athlete to back out from the 2020 Charles Schwab Series.

ROBERT WAGNER, AGE 91 – NCIS

Starring in TV shows like “Hart to Hart” and “It Takes a Thief” earned Robert Wagner notoriety in the industry. On the big screen, you might have seen him in the trilogy of “Austin Powers” films or ” The Concorde … Airport ’79.” He gained renewed attention in his later roles as Teddy Leopold in “Two and a Half Men” from 2007 to 2008 and Anthony DiNozzo Sr. in “NCIS” from 2010 to 2019.

While he hasn’t taken any acting roles of late, we saw him in the 2021 video documentary “Forever Doris.” Away from the screen, Wagner lives with his wife Jill St. John in Aspen Colorado. They constructed their home in 1995 but also maintain a Los Angeles condo.

Susan Dey, Age 68 – The Partridge Family

Best known for her portrayal of Laurie Partridge on the family sitcom The Partridge Family, Susan Hallock Dey started her career as a model before landing her role as Laurie at the age of 17. She made her film debut in a minor role as a passenger on a hijacked airplane in 1972’ Skyjacked.

The Gloden Globe AWard-winning actress found success after starring in L.A. Law in 1986, playing as Grace Owen on the drama series until 1992. Her other notable film credits also include the 1981 sci-fi thriller Looker and L.A. Law: The Movie. In 2020, she appeared on an episode of the television series Stars in the House.

Robby Benson, Age 66 – One On One

Robin David Segal is credited as Robby Benson in his work as a composer, singer, and actor. He made his way under the spotlight in the ’70s when appearances in movies like “One on One” and “Ice Castles” made him a teen idol. Benson is still hard at work with his acting chops displayed in the 2019 film “A Feeling of Home.”

After his 1970 debut in The Magic Garden of Stanley Sweetheart, Johnson has contributed to countless popular films and movies, including Django Unchained, Knives Out, and A Boy and His Dog Vic. In 2021, Johnson is busy producing and acting in his new television movie Nash Bridges while also filming Rebel Ridge and Shriver.

With more than 150 movies to his name, Samuel Leroy Jackson is one of the highest-grossing actors in showbiz today, with his films grossing more than $16.7 billion on the box office. After his graduation in 1972, Jackson moved to New York City where he took part in many stage plays, however, he later developed cocaine addiction which cut his Broadway career short.

Jackson’s career took off following his collaborations with directors like Quentin Tarantino and Spike Lee in action movies like Pulp Fiction, Jungle Fever, Django Unchained, and Snakes on A Plane. Jackson will reprise his Marvel character Nick Fury in the 2021 premiere of the television series Secret Invasion.

Steven Seagal, Age 70 – Under Siege

Before becoming the fearless on-screen kickboxing, gun-wielding, martial arts alpha male that we all know and love him for, Steven Seagal was actually an English professor and martial arts instructor. After choreographing fight scenes in action movies for stars like Sean Connery, Seagal was drawn towards the roles himself.

After returning to the United States, Seagal brought his talents to the big screen in his late ‘80s debut Above the Law, followed by Hard to Kill and Under Siege. He also made his directorial debut in 1994 with the movie On Deadly Ground. Seagal is set to make a comeback as Niko in the hotly anticipated sequel Above the Law 2.

Nancy Kovack, Age 87 – Jason and the Argonauts

Born in Flint, Michigan, Nancy Kovack was a stunningly beautiful actress during her prime. By the time she graduated from the University of Michigan, she had already won eight beauty pageants at the age of 20. She made her acting debut in a brief appearance on Glea Girls.

After her debut, Kovak played relatively significant parts in the 1950 game show, Beat the Clock, followed by Today and The Dave Garroway Show. She has given her most famous performances in productions like Star Trek, Batman, Frank and Johnny, and The Silencers. At age 86, Kovak is enjoying her well-deserved and much-needed retirement.

Mary Kathleen Turner gained fame and stardom in the ‘80s due to her stunning features, intellect, and on-screen prowess. After graduating from Los Angeles City College, Kerry left RKO and signed with 20th Century Fox as an actor, performer, and co-host.

Kerry gave her most significant performances in the late ‘40s and early ‘50s in productions like Canon City, The Long Ranger, Clutch Cargo, and If You Knew Susie. In 2016, Kerry released her biography, titled Tinker Bell Talk: Tales of a Pixie Dusted Life.

Cher, Age 76 – Moonstruck

Born as Cherilyn Sarkisian El Centro, Cher is a legendary singer and actress who rose to fame as a part of the pop duo Sonny & Cher when their single I Got You Babe topped the charts.

After branching out with her successful solo career, Cher made her film debut in the 1980s with movies like Silkwood and Mask. Her most notable performances on the screen came in productions like Burlesque, Mermaids, and Moonstruck, which won her an Academy Award.
