Jessica Phyllis Lange was born on April 20, 1949, in Los Angeles, California. She is an actress from the United States. She is the 13th actress to win two Academy Awards, three Primetime Emmy Awards, a Tony Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and five Golden Globe Awards. Lange made her feature film debut in Dino De Laurentiis’ 1976 remake of the 1933 action-adventure classic King Kong, for which she also received her first Golden Globe nomination for New Star of the Year.
Lange received her first Primetime Emmy Award for her performance in HBO’s Grey Gardens as Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis’s aunt Big Edie (2009).
