He Saw It Move

Michael had been watching the iceberg through his high-powered binoculars for nearly an hour. At first, it was out of curiosity because something that big didn’t show up every day. But then, as his view swept across the top of the ice, he saw something move.
It wasn’t the ice cracking or shifting, but actual movement. It was slow and deliberate. He tried to zoom in, but the shape vanished behind the ridge before he could focus. It didn’t look like a movement caused by wind or melting ice. Michael lowered the binoculars as his heart thudded. He had no idea what he’d seen but it was still out there.
