Who could ever forget Lando from Star Wars? No one, of course, and that’s why, after four decades, Billy Dee Williams returned to his role. While we all know and love Williams from his portrayal of powerful characters in films like The Empire Strikes Back and Batman, Billy Dee got his start on the stage. Williams broke into the industry after appearing the 1945 Broadway hit, The Firebrand of Florence.
Billy Dee has always been an artist. According to his website, Williams paints and produced 120 works in two years, showing a preference for acrylics but working via oil and airbrush as well.
