Dean Stockwell has had an amazing career which spanned seven decades. He started out in the industry as a child star on MGM. Eventually, he obtained audiences’ attention with his work on films like Anchors Aweigh, Gentleman’s Agreement, and Kim. As an adult, he had a starring role in Broadway and appeared in more prominent movies like Blue Velvet, Air Force One, and Married to the Mob. The latter earned him an Oscar nomination. In 2017, it was reported that Stockwell had suffered a stroke two years prior, and as a result, had retired from acting.
