Pia Zadora is a name many people know. She was even friends with legendary singer Frank Sinatra. She comes from an artistic background where her father played the violin while her mother was a wardrobe supervisor for Broadway Productions and the Metropolitan Opera as well the New York City Opera. Her name came to prominence when she won a Golden Globe award as New Star of the Year for her 1981 performance in Butterfly which received mixed reviews.
