Amanda Bearse is a well-known comedienne, director, and actress. She had her big break in acting when she became one of the cast members in the sitcom Married… with Children in ’87. You might recall she played Marcy Rhoades who eventually became Marcy D’Arcy. Bearse remained a cast member until the show had ended in ’97.
She also directed 31 of the series’ episodes, in addition to episodes of TV shows like Malcolm & Eddie, Mad TV, and Reba. Bearse is married to Carrie Schenken, and she’s a famous mother to Zoe, the daughter she adopted.
