The Brightest Stars Of The ’80s And Where They Ended Up
Rick Moranis – 68

Canadian actor and comedian Rick Moranis came to prominence appearing in the ‘80s sketch series Second City Television. He went on to appear in several Hollywood movies including Strange Brew, Little Shop of Horrors, Honey I Shrunk the Kids, and Ghostbusters. However, he went on a hiatus in 1997 choosing to dedicate his time fully to raising his two children as a single dad.
Moranis had unfortunately lost his wife Ann Belsky, a costume designer, to cancer in 1991. Moranis made a comeback in 2001 lending his voice to the animated movie Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and the Island of Misfit Toys. He followed through by voicing the Rutt character in Brother Bear and it’s 2006 sequel.
